A visit to Peza winery where we can taste the fammous products of CRETE : dry wine and extra virgin olive oil. Afterwards the museum of Pottery in the village of Thrapsano with a huge variety of art pottery products still in action.Then an excursion through olive groves and mountainous landscape to the Byzantine Monastery of the Virgin Mary Kera, situated in beautiful surroundings on the slopes of the Dicte Mountains. High in the Dicte Mountains lies the Plateau of Lassithi, a rich and very fertile plateau where vegetables, grapes and fruits are cultivated and irrigated by thousands of windmills offering a breathtaking sight. Our next stop is at Psychro and the Dictean cave with its curtain-like stalactites and stalagmites, where as mythology claims, was the legendary birthplace of the father of the Gods, Zeus.
